In order for you gauge to be "upgradable" to the latest firmware with only a reflash required, you must have firmware version 2.0 or higher and the back of your unit must look like this:
The reflash will cost $20 plus return shipping of $7.
If your gauge is older than this, the only option is for us to replace the main circuit board before doing the reflash. This costs $106 which includes the board, reflash, and return shipping.
Please contact service@aeroforcetech.com if you want either of these options. They will tell you how to proceed.

Are the prices for just the single gauges or is it for the duals also?
Thanks

A reflash is the same cost ($27), but if you need updated hardware you'll have to add $90 for the second gauge for a total of $196.

Do you mean add the wire for the output module? If that's what you mean then yes. We don't sell single OBD2 cables though.

nop i was asking for the wire and connector that goes from the gage to the obd port so i could split my dual kit to 2 single gages
could i use this one
Dual Cable:
One OBD2 connection splits into to gauge connectors allowing two single gauges to be used as a dual. Single FD and single SR gauges are not meant to be run as duals however
$25
and just not use the second output ?? |

Two singles would cost $478, so if you want to turn your dual set into two singles you could send the second one here and we can reflash it for $478-$399 = $79 plus shipping. You'd get the proper single cable including with the gauge when it was returned. This is assuming you have the current hardware version shown above which has been in use now for about 18 months. We cannot reflash older hardware with current firmware.

one problem i see now is that my gauge maybe old and need a new board
the pat pend sticker on the back says PT101 FI
i'm guessing that's pretty old, how can i tell what version i have, Todd? |

Yeah, that's a few years old. In order to get the latest firmware, version 2.6, you would need the main circuit board replaced.

That is the short lived second generation board. You'll need to upgrade to the latest hardware which has the shrowd around the analog input connector and 2 pin power jumper.
